The ‘Home Barista Intro’ course is held on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 18:00 to 20:00.
Duration: 2 hours
Participants: 4-6 people. In order for the course to be held, a minimum of 4 people need to be signed up.
Location: Gammel Kongevej 84, 1850 Frederiksberg
Terms: We reserve the right to cancel a course with fewer than 4 participants. It is possible for you to change the date of your course up to 14 days before, unless the course has already been filled.

What you’ll learn on the course
On our “Home Barista Intro” you’ll gain practical and theoretical knowledge and tools allowing you to feel at home with you own espressomachine and grinder. We’ll teach you the basics regarding brewing an espresso, milk frothing and the basic latte art techniques. If you want an in depth knowledge of latte art, we recommend you tak your “Latte art” course.
We’ll help you with generel questions concerning your equipment etc. The ‘Home Barista Intro’ course will elaborate on the construction of an espresso and what determines the the flavour. We’ll also take you through the different element of the brewing process such as the grinding, tampering and the equipment’s functions.
In continuation of the espresso brewing we’ll go into milk frothing. Here we’ll practise achieving a good creamy milk texture. Hereafter we’ll practice pouring with a focus on reaching the right espresso to milk ratio and ensuring the froth and crema mixes into a good well-tasting consistency.
