About the farm

This coffee comes from La Divisa, a family-owned farm run by Sebastian Gomez and his father. Located at 1,700–1,900 meters above sea level, the farm spans 13 hectares of lush, volcanic soil surrounded by shade trees. After returning to Colombia in 2014, Sebastian was inspired by the global specialty coffee scene and set out to elevate his family’s production to a new quality level. In 2018, he planted 5,000 Geisha trees, which today are beginning to truly show their potential. The coffee cherries are hand-picked and carefully sorted, then slowly dried on raised beds. This process highlights the coffee’s natural sweetness, vibrant fruit character, and delicate floral complexity. We’ve had the chance to visit the farm ourselves, building a direct relationship with the producers behind this coffee.
