575 Tabi Washed – Colombia, Tolima

Name: 575 Tabi Washed

  • Country: Colombia
  • Region: Casabianca, Northern Tolima
  • Producer: Herbert Peñaloza Correa
  • Altitude: 1850 masl
  • Harvest: 2025
  • Tasting notes: Lavender, White Pepper & Green Herbs

Herbert Peñaloza Correa and his team at 575 Café in Palocabildo, Colombia, are behind this unique nano-lot from northern Tolima. Herbert is a key figure at our friends at La Real Expedición Botánica, from whom we source coffee in Colombia. This lot was purchased directly through Herbert, thanks to our Head of Coffee, Christian, who met him when Herbert supplied the competition coffee for the Danish Coffee Festival.

We met Herbert through a mutual friend at the Danish Coffee Festival in 2019, and since then we’ve been waiting for the opportunity to source coffee from his farm. This is the first year we are receiving nano-lots from him — and they are so small that we can only offer 1–2 roasts.

All our coffees are roasted as omni roast, so they can be enjoyed both as filter coffee and espresso.
